    	    <description><![CDATA[Install the latest drivers for your sound card they usually come with extra compatability/software that can help detect your Mic. I use Sibera's on w7. Try going into mumble and use the setup function to test if you can hear yourself, do this each time with a different "input" from the drop down menu to see which works, if no luck try the other pink port and then the mumble test again.]]></description>

    	    <description><![CDATA[If it's jack based Windows can't tell if you've got it plugged in or not (it ignores the relevant ACPI event unless ACPI triggers a switch in output port), so you're probably looking at the wrong device.]]></description>
