I've recently installed Windows XP again due to my computer being a pile of shit and me needing a reformat.
When I try to open TF2, no matter what I do, if -novid isn't in the launch options, all it does is open in a tiny resolution with windowed noborder, play the starter video, then minimize and quit. If I leave it, that's what happens, but if I start typing elsewhere or something, it doesn't play the rest and it just minimizes and closes instantly.

If I DO have -novid on, then it just doesn't open anything but the border around my avatar on steam community goes green for a little bit, then goes away.

[removed picture because it didn't take a pic of the 500x500ish video]

I've tried deleting the 'team fortress 2' folder, but it just rebuilds itself and does the same.
I've tried using -autoconfig but it just does the same thing.
