steam itself checks if ur connection is beeing used by other apps, on slow connections it might misjudge that, so leave it on without pausing it all the time?

or try changing steam server location and ur connection speed to slowest possible

Okay, short story: I have no cable-internet in my flat but a gay usb-umts-internet-stick that works very well in general.

however, the connection is too bad for TF2 at all, but that's not the problem (there are enough jump maps for offline gaming ((((( ).

Steam started to update TF2 (screenshot http://imgur.com/MD2hW.png) but doesn't finish it. Idk why, I have an average dl-speed of 100 kB so it should work well with this small update.

What can I do to roll back the update or even continue it? Restarting steam / pc / usb stick unplugging didn't help at all.

Don't say "yeah, just delete tf2 and redownload it" < i can't, my connection is too slow. Thanks.
