I didn't consider a wireless mouse. This is the mouse I've had for years now and I didn't buy it. Currently, buying a decent wired mouse isn't something that I can spend money on and while it's wireless, it's been fine up until now. Also, since the keyboard and mouse are a pair, I'd need to buy a keyboard too. I'd rather just fix this problem and buy a new mouse in the hopefully near future.
Try doing a system restore to when the mouse was working? Maybe it will undo some crappy settings that stop it working? Have you changed batterys, maybe the reciever is being rubbish? Doesn't happen off game. Only started recently. It kind of started when I installed chris' fps config but I think that's unrelated. Yes I have -high off. It may happen ever minute or only three times a game (it seems to decrease when I restart TF2), my mouse will stop moving and my keyboard will continue to move in the direction I was moving before it stopped working without responding. It's not specifically the mouse since it affects my keyboard to so it's something to do with the USB receiver but I don't know what. Also, yes I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers.
