The difficulty I had was that the first Quake 3 hitsound on TF2 Dingalings I found was completely wrong (far too high pitched). Once I installed the 'Quake 3 ARENA hitsound' everything was peachy.

1. Copy/paste the hitsound file you like into your sound folder (which you can find here: [steam account name]/team fortress 2/tf/sound)

2. Open your autoexec and copy/paste this:

// Hitsound settings:

play quake3.wav
tf_dingalingaling "1"
tf_dingaling_pitchmaxdmg "100"
tf_dingaling_pitchmindmg "100"
tf_dingaling_volume "0.80"
tf_dingaling_wav_override "quake3.wav"

Note: These are my personal settings, you can change pitchmaxdmg, pitchmindmg and volume to whatever you like.

Thats it, have fun. :P

That would be awesome if you could have a different sound for every consecutive hit. Therefore you could split the saxguy into individual notes and assign them to hitsounds so when you start hitting as heavy the entire song would play.
