Faulty Nvida/Ati GPU's (Request.)

Does anyone have any they could send me, i want to trail a new fix that i figured out the other day (fix was used on HP laptops with the no post/black screen.) a faulty 8800 would be ideal. Or if Bennito is about, that 8800GTX would be ideal.

if you’re trying the heatgun trick to hope they resolder the stuff back together, we’ve done that at work and successfully melted a battery compartment out of shape and then spent the next 3 hrs fixing it back with repeated heating + stabbings :D
i have a 9800gt with a fan that could never decide if it wanted to spin or not

you not very good at it then, so far at work i have fixed 8 laptops and 2 GPU’s and did’t break/melt anything. the laptops were a writeoff untill i did this fix, and the GPU’s are sat @ home ready to go on ebay. as they were a 50/50 shot as to weather this fix would work, so the customer was told they were a write off.
Maybe next time take the whole thing out onto the desk and use a heat shield to just focus the area. (coke cans work great.)

If you pay the postage costs, you’re welcome to have it to bastardise/do whatever you want with.
