It’s automatic.
There was a thread in the ETF2L forums about it somewhere, but it’s really easy to automate with OCR once you know the exact font you’re reading and you have a high-quality screenshot as a source.
And if you read the first post carefully, he didn’t ask whether it’s automated or not, he asked how it works ;p

Well, it would be wrong to call it OCR.
I wouldn’t have continued this conversation if you didn’t offend me with an attack on my character, I don’t really care about this at all.
