As far as I can tell my GFX card has died which means I’m on the lookout for a new one. However due to being a student and what not I am not looking at splashing out the cash. I just want to get a card which can run TF2 while I save up for a better one etc…

My previous card was a 8800GT. I also have a Q6600 and 4gb ram so the rest of my system will be okay. Umm I don’t really know what else to say, any help would be appreciated :)

I had an 8800GT die about a month ago, very similar spec to your machine.

I decided to replace it with something cheap that would last 6-12 months before upgrading at the end of the year with something beast-like.

Works pretty well for anything I use it for – obviously won’t run your games at full-whack 1920×1080 or anything though :p
