Don't change the themes , wont help. Just go in mirc options , button should be at the top somewhere , then scroll down to Display and change the color of ''message'' and ''highlight'' to something bright. If that doesn't work , go to ''view'' at the top and select colors... you can fiddle around with that. hope it helps.
