cs is dead
How do i download it
Well, i just played it for a bit. It’s just like cs/css. Same maps, same guns, same everything. I suppose the only ones who’ll notice (and mind) all difference between the 3 versions are the ones who have been playing it for ages.
For me (only played cs and css for a bit now and then), it’s just all the same.
Also, cspromod is, and probably won’t be, publicly accessible. (ie: it’s not being sold in stores etc. You’ll only download it when referred to by a friend.) Therefore, even if it gains popularity in the beginning, it’ll probably die down because of people leaving and lack of new blood. Look at TF2: people leaving all the time, but we’re getting new blood as well.
I wouldn’t mind them proving me wrong though :)
ugh…
Another re-skin of same OLD cs? It’s like beating a dead horse and pretending he’s moving.

It’s cs1.5 on the css engine, the only thing in common it has with css is directx9.5 graphics and the css models (which are due to be replaced with 1.6 replica’s in the 1.05 release)

Answers pretty much all your queries.

Well, as i said. All 3 are the same. So if it’s cs on the css engine, it’s still the same. I don’t really care about all those itsy-bitsy details between cs and css.
And yes, i’ve read that, i’ve been following the news on cspromod pretty closely for the last few months. I understand to an extent the fuss about the cs/css players about the differences between the 2, but from my point of view, someone who hasn’t played the games to bits, it’s all the exact same.
I played a fair bit of cs 1.6 years ago, whenever i played css, the only difference i noticed was that you just had to randomly spray in someones general direction to get a headshot in css. That didn’t work in cs 1.6 ;)
Right… every iteration of cs is “the same” and doesn’t make a difference but yet minor changes to TF2 weapon balance results in 30 page threads about balance and gameplay.
I guess there isn’t really reason why there are two comparitively massive, completely segregated communities either then…

Haha thank you. I was just about to say this.
I stopped playing cz because it became dated. Many of my friends moved onto css and it just didnt feel right to me so I came to tf2, figured I may aswell change completely.
Anyway I am going to try this because cs1.6 and cz rocked :D

Now thats just silly
Just played a mix on it, pretty nice to be honest. Miles ahead of the previous version.
