Why would you resize something in Paint?
Some would say you’d only find that innocent advert disturbing if you’ve got something to hide……
I heard those ads have something to do with your usuall google searches, no? T_T

no, not in the slightest. although this may be implemented in the future it is not currently how it works.
google adwords can either serve ads contextually or by placement, placement is when the advertiser specifically chooses your site to serve their ads on and contextual being when ads are served based on what the content is on the site (based on keywords that the advertiser chooses) they can also choose by category basis but not many people use this.
so on this basis id say its being served based on a keyword basis, presumably there were children/family related terms on the site when you were browsing.
Ads can easily be restricted in Adsense which im sure the admin will do once he see’s this thread.
personally i dont think Adsense is the best choice for adserving on ETF2L but hey its the quickest and easiest

The adsense ads on the site are currently served from an account that only Daykiller has access to, which isn’t massively helpful.
I have a project idea on the table which involves us using open source ad serving software to actually serve our own adverts direct from relevant companies. It will give ETF2L users much more relevant and targeted adverts, since we will be controlling the adverts that are put on their website. With regards to advertisers they will get a much better return on their investment as well as being able to view the statistical data of their advert – such as the number of impressions and the clickthrough rate.
It wouldn’t take much to actually implement a system such as I’m describing, and it can even be used for affiliate adverts to relevant sites such as Amazon, Play.com, etc.

To be honest with you, ive not seen one advert on the sidebar that ive even thought about clicking…

i just thought it was a bit disturbing that people would have the stupidity to post an advert saying ‘send us pics of your cute kids’ even if if they are or are not paedophiles. this is the internet ffs. not your village hall.
anyway just found it disturbing.
if the adverts were based on my searches then it would be
fragvids and anal porn ;) what else would you search for after reinstalling windows 3 times on a new pc… gotta relieve the stress somehow. As for the anal porn; well gotta get your kicks from something :P

ditto :] n1ping and steelseries are about the only intersting thing on that side.

n1 ping servers have got to be some of the worst servers ive played on ever
for a start i get higher ping than on any other match server :P

Some of the best dutch servers I’ve played on too. No server will be perfect for everyone sadly, due to routing issues between different countries/ISPs.
