    	    <description><![CDATA[lol at tesco, read the post.

I've also been downloading tf2 for 2 hours and i've only gained 1% (from 97 where it started). Had to delete local content after it went update - 1 second left now at 100% then back to the error message (of "local games file are missing, steam will re-acquire through the servers) and kept doing it.

So yeah, i have a problem too]]></description>

    	    <description><![CDATA[So I tried to sign in earlier today after work, and it just sat at the log in box for ages then it crashed, I tried again and nothing really happened.  So I decided to delete the clientregistry.blob, as that usually fixes the problem.  This is when the real problem started :

Took me fully 2 hours to update the steam platform at this point, and when it finally hit 100% the log in box just freezes.  All ports are open, the slow update is not because of my internet at all as I'm getting a healthy speed, and full download speed.

I tried reinstalling steam, even to another hard drive, but every time the same problem.  

Anyone know any solution to this?]]></description>
