The link was removed because it contained pictures of a dead baby being cooked and served in a soup. This is not responsible content to put onto ETF2L, even if a warning was edited in after the link was posted.

Whilst I understand Imperium’s intentions for posting, he wanted to try and raise awareness on issue, this is not the place to bring about a big debate on ethics and how hunger/babies/soup/whatever is dealt with around the world. Much in the same way that talk of religion and politics are also banned on this forum.

We’re a gaming forum, and we’re here to play games, have a laugh about silly things and talk as a community. We don’t need deep debates on sensitive topics. There are other places on the Internet where this can take place.

Finally, Imperium is a member of the Vertex community in our second team. I have absolutely no wish for any member of either of our teams to be involved in controversy like this or to post things which some people (including myself) have found very offensive. To give you more reasoning for the offence I took, an ex-girlfriend of mine had a miscarriage and well the by-products of that were pretty similar to what was in the soup, minus the cooking. It’s not nice, it’s not needed and it should not be tolerated.
