Just think of it as paying £25 for the single player experience, and getting the shitty multiplayer for free :)
CoD SP is good? It’s a linear and dull yawnfest. CoD1 SP was probably the best and it has gone downhill since then. It has zero replayability, seriously. =/
MP on the other hand is pretty decent, but now that they screwed that up, no reason to get the game for me.

i remember first getting cod1 sp demo as a kid! Thaught it was the bees knees, running through that field with the mortars going off as some dude dragged an injured person behind him. Legen-dary.
so this game scored 9.5 on ign which is pretty weird and i’ve read a review on IW forums by a random guy who basically confirmed that ITS NOT THAT BAD but certainly feels exactly like a port from console and lacks a few features to make it really good…
I also didnt understand if the game is actually tied to steam (installation and updates) even if you actually purchased the dvds
did anyone happen to try anything of this?
they realise that they get alot more sales from the consoles than the stand alone PC so theyve put all their marketing into 360/ps3 and released a crappy port for PC. damn u for no dedicated.
it’s not a direct port, it has MOUSE SUPPORT!! FUUUUUUUUUUUUU- :D
Ignoring IW.net, is the PC version a direct port of the console version?
Mackey-IW: No, PC has custom stuff like mouse control, text chat in game, and graphics settings.
