Aye true that. OSX86 ftw.

What I meant more was the actual laptop itself. Macbooks have pretty much second-to-none build quality, even though im not particularly a fan of OSX, i'd pretty much buy the laptop just to put windows on it if i had the cash.

But ye, I know for a fact OSX86 runs on most vostros with no issues except the built in speakers not working on some models. Will just need the check the site really.

However if you've realised how stupidly overpriced macbooks are for something that isn't actually all that much better, look at the Dell Vostro series. Ive got a Vostro 1400. It cost me £400 from http://www.ndc.co.uk more than a year ago now.

T7500 (2GHz C2D that is)
2GB RAM
160GB HDD (although im considering upgrading it)
Geforce 8400
14" Matte Screen
6 Cell battery and it'll easily get about 3.5hours if you fiddle with the power settings a bit (running Windows 7).

Build quality is fantastic and I use it daily.

Add me on steam if you have anymore Q's.

I had to buy a laptop due to moving to Uni last year... and its great, and its not really a 'gaming laptop' It's a dell and its never overheated for me! No complaints with it at all
