I'm way too lazy to read the last posts, if it has already been solved or not.

anyway, I stumbled upon this: http://www.alternate.de/html/product/Maeuse__und__Trackballs_Zubehoer/Hyperglide/Mouse_Skates_RZ-3/266043/?tn=HARDWARE&l1=Eingabeger%C3%A4te&l2=Zubeh%C3%B6r
ye it's German, but now you officially know there are separate skates for your beloved mouse.

Just checked again, no skates hidden anywhere :)
I've decided to get a DA, thanks to everyone who advised me on this.
Diamondback looks like a solid mouse except for the side buttons which look dodgy.
So, cheers for the tips and see you ingame sometime :)

didn't you get a spare set of skates with your lachesis? I had them packed in when I bought my copperhead back in early 07, replaced the original skates a couple of months ago

well yeah it took some time to find'em as they were craftily hidden inside that awesome 10-page round-shaped MANUAL lololol.. but they were there

so perhaps you better check your package unless you threw it away ofc

Then get it, but be sure the try it out beforehand because I ended up selling mine to get a DB 3G.
