My sniper played a game for us right after upgrading, he reverted back after because the game "felt different". I've experienced something similar having played the game on linux for a while, too. He says it might be placebo effect though. Can anyone shed light on this before I upgrade? Also, what happens if your copy of windows isn't legitimate?

This is why I’m planning to limit my acquaintance with Windows 10 to a virtual machine until they do something about the privacy issues. Sooner or later though, all Windows users will be forced to upgrade anyway.
