If you're looking for a mouse that's very similar to the deathadder but doesn't break after 3 months go for the zowie ec1-a/ec2-a.

http://www.zowiegear.com/index.php?i=product&p=21

The design is practically the same, this newer model has the same sensor as the FK.

FK is also a good option...but real mice have curves!

Oh, and the extra sticky rubber parts are meant to be replacements for the rubbers under the mouse, don't try sticking them on the side of the mouse for extra grip like my retarded self.

As for keyboards it's pretty safe to say that the steelseries 6gv2 is one of the, if not the, best option for someone who's looking for a "budget" but high quality mech-kb.

Logitech is just about to release their new mouse g303 (is already available in some countries). It has the best sensor on the market (PMW3366), the same as in g502.
This mouse is lightweight and has a more uncomplicated shape than the g502.

It has two drawback for some people though (depending on your taste of course).
It has a somewhat odd shape at the sides (some convex shape with an angle in the middle).

Also, the lift off distance is very low. Most people seem to prefer low lift off distance, but some of us tend to lift the mouse a bit during fast swipes which might case the mouse to stop tracking.
If one has no problem with the mentioned issues, this mouse is the best one can get performance wise right now.

As others have said the Zowie mice are also hugely popular, have good sensors and shapes.

Personally I can also really recommend the Steelseries Kana v2. The sensor is really good.
It is lightweight, has a nice uncomplicated shape and is also not too expensive.
One drawback for some people is that the lift-off distance is very high. However, one can easily decrease it by the so called "tape-trick".
