I tend to have cheap and cheerful meals. Simple and quick to make.

1. Pasta in cheese and parsley sauce with bacon. You can add anything you like I suppose. All depends what you like with cheese, ive also tried chives which works and chicken.
quick cook Pasta like 75p does like 4/5 servings for me
Cheese sauce £1 does about 6/7 servings
dried parsley 50p-70p depends on where you get it
Bacon varies ofc. You dont need much so bacon bits will work

Boil pasta (10min)
I usually cook the bacon here until crispy, I lice it into small pieces then leave on kitchen towel to drain far (grilling sucks with my cooker)
Few spoons of cheese sauce mix, add boiling water, stir until thickened.
Add dried parsley (mix ofc) Then bacon is added
Drain pasta mix in sauce. Done

not even 15minutes of work for an awesomely delicious meal.

2. Poor mans pizza (not my name for it but its lovely)
Toast one side of bread, spread some tomato puree on the otherside, grate some cheese and then toast taht side.
Simple pizza style toast.

3. this is just a favourite of mine.
New potatoes chopped quite small, boiled and drained.
chop some spring onion to small pieces/slices ? throw them into a bowl with the potatoes.
Take either salad cream or mayonaise and mix it together can be eaten as it is or put away for another time. I usually split it in half provided I use half a bag of new potatoes. Awesome with ... well anything thats savoury :)

Marinate chicken fillet in olive oil, lemon juice and parsley for one or two hours in fridge.
Fry chicken fillet.
Mix fresh cream and parsley.
Spread that mix on your fried chicken, eat in a sandwich with lettuce.

Also fried courgette slices (not thin like crisps though !), dipped in olive oil with parmezan shavings and salt - delicious

Both recipes easy to make and a nice change from the ordinary.

Waebi thumbs up for yours ! Those are so enjoyable in a hot summer day. I eat mine with pine nuts sprinkled onto as well :)
