If you make a shortcut from steam it won't be an actual shortcut. You need to make a shortcut manually, point it at steam.exe and add -applaunch 440 in the path, ie. "c:/program files(x86)/steam/steam.exe" -applaunch 440
Then change the icon and pin it to your taskbar and voila.

Well it seemed to work but this is what happened: http://i.imgur.com/Pct5pDK.gif

Nope doesnt work either :( Can't even change the icon from properties. Tried to move hl2.exe to Desktop and then pin it but appears the following message:

Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' doesn't exist in subdirectory 'hl2'. Check your game parameter or VCONFIG setting.

What comes to my mind is changing the icons from C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2/hl/resource/game.ico to the ones you said. But i read i could get VAC banned from messing with the .exe files(?) and if I only change the game.ico it automatically restores the hl2 icon
