make a perform script that does the auting for you.

in mirc:

tools>options; under the connect tab select servers; click perform;

check enable perform on connect; add quakenet to networks; select quakenet;

You can now put in the commands you wish to be run on connect eg. :

/msg q@CServe.quakenet.org AUTH nick pwd
/join #mpuktf2.pickup

This will auth you on connect with quakenet and join the pickup chan. you can add extra lines to the perform for channels you're in.

/msg q@cserve.quakenet.org auth [username] [password]

It will say in the mpuk channel that you are logged in if it works

Yes I did that, and it says Im logged in.

But the rules say:

" A rule of thumb is to have at least 30 played hours and at least 20 hours in each of the classes you are going to play in pickups "#

As Im fairly new could this rule be stopping me?

Well, I done the AUTH command, and it says im logged in ________ (username)
I noticed for the pick-up you need to have played 20hours off each class before I join, for experience Im guessing.

Since I've not done this, this might be the reason Im not able too join/play?

Hello all, new too the ETF2L Forums so I say hello.

Okay, I'm pretty new to TF2, moving over from CSS. The mIRC channel I got told about where pugs happen is on; mpuktf2.pickup

1. I have reigsterd an account onto Quakenet homepage
2. I have authorised my account on Quakenet
3. I am in the channel

But my problem is this: #mpuktf2.pickup Cannot send to channel

Now does this mean Im not 100% logged into Quakenet? - I don't know.
Any help is appreciated.
