Same here :D

Before I got this one I had a series of non-gaming headphones. For a long time I had a Sennheiser, but the padding fell apart and replacing it would've cost more than the headphone itself, which might have had something to do with that the thing was 10 years old. Still, good value for the money. Now, I also had this one: http://www.panasonic.com/consumer_electronics/technics_dj/prod_intro_rpdh1200.asp

so I started using that Technics for gaming. This was not the success I had expected. This headphone has very good insulation (yes, it's hot), so I was basically unaware of any sound around me, including the sound I made myself. This resulted in shouting, not just ordinary shouting but very loud shouting. Call it screaming. I was comfortable with it, as my team deserves it anyway, but my GF found it to be extremily annoying. So I got the Siberia because of some thread on this site, and I really like it. The downside is that the shells are open (at least compared to the Technics), so if you're at a LAN it might not be the best choice.

I have Roccat Kulo 7.1 and they suck, they are not comfy neither do they produce good sound. Next pair of headphones I buy will be some non-gaminheadset just to check if atmos argument is valid ;) Thought about these http://www.amazon.co.uk/AKG-142-HD-Headphones-semi-open/dp/B0028N78HA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336039501&sr=8-1

Just going to buy another pair of SteelSeries Siberia's if my current pair ever breaks.

Tried Skullcandy and couple other known gaming headset brands before, but none of them are as comfortable as the Siberias. My old Skullcandy headset was the worst, my ears started to hurt already after an hour wearing them. The Siberias can be worn for a day without any hurting or squeezing.

shit i didn't realize skullcandy made gaming headsets i shall recommend them in the future as almost as good as siberias
