The main problem (for me personally) is not about the right or wrong in this particular case. Watch any Fox News bit on radical fundamentalist muslim terrorists and you will see that their view is that these radicals represent the entire community. The entire story about him not being a christian is pitched as the Left pointing the blame to the Right. That is nowhere near enough of a reason to forbid discussion of politics or religion. And by discussion I mean, talking about a subject, dismissing someones arguements by presenting evidence in a civilised manor. Though I can see how serious discussions of politics and religion might not be the top priority of a TF2 league admin. Or even players. Most likely a well crafted way of boosting your ego by acting smart in a forum where everyone knows you.
