You're saying you tried to play the AVI file that you encoded to lagarith in Virtualdub? If so, that's not a problem. If you've recorded in more than 60fps, your hard drive isn't actually fast enough to read the data in time to render the frame. Different media players fuck up in different ways when this happens. And even when it can read, the bitrate is so insanely high it takes a pretty good CPU to even play it. When you use RAM Preview in AE/Vegas, all will be fine.
