I wouldn't bother with the learning skills now, basically the learning skills were used to raise certain attributes which in turn lowers the time required to train the ingame skills you wish to take. When they remove them there will be a certain amount of skill points given to players depending on their current learning skill levels that they will be free to distribute as they wish, and they will then be able to put the 12 new base attribute points into whichever attributes they wish. Trailers are very poor representations of the game because they are made to promote the game and make it look as amazing as possible. I assume that the music in "Large Capital Fight in Eve" is added and is not part of the game, therefore it's only fair to judge it with music turned off in which case it looks immensely boring. For the first video I can't say much since it's blocked in this godforsaken hellhole. I tried the trial twice. Both times the amount of things was overwhelming. Granted it was a long time ago before the changes. Not my kind of game since I like shooting dudes and something that's a bit more fast-paced. I'm not saying EVE is a bad game. It looks gorgeus and if you belong to the niche that likes space-sim-spreadsheet-timeconsumers then it's probably right up your alley.
no, the last video is a ... well its difficult to explain i guess the easiest way to word it would be 'its a declaration of war', the video was made by the old mercenary coalition alliance as a way to publicise a massive campaign they were about to undertake against the (then) most powerful alliance in eve you really need to know the backstory on the whole thing, its what makes the video so amazing - basically we are gonna come after you and we are gonna fuck you up.avi and the reason i just posted those links was because according to animal mining and mission running is all you do in eve, when that really is not true, there was nothing better than engaging 15 cruisers on a lowsec gate in your faction fit bs, the adrenaline rush was amazing, makes me kinda miss eve in a way when i watch those videos]]> generator=rsdiscuss&baseurl=https://staging.etf2l.org&feed=forum&forum=off-topic&topic=14528&post=248844 Thu, 25 Nov 2010 21:39:00 +0100
