I found myself agreeing with your premise, but then I felt unsure. Controled, structured aggression is so very often the way forward, especially at mid battles. Scout goes aggressive when he counts 4 rockets have left the pocket’s boomstick for example.
I’m an awful scout, and I’m a retard, but I enjoyed the essay and found it interesting.
