Ever since Plants versus Zombies got the GOTY update, I've been unable to launch it, or any popcap game (peggle extreme and deluxe are the only other ones I have). Any time I try them, I get the message "Unable to load Steam.dll" I've tried moving steam.dll from the steam folder to the pvz folder, repeatedly un- and re-installed, verified the game cache, running it in compatibility mode and as admin, to no avail. Graphics drivers, windows and directx are all up to date afaik. I figured contacting Steam would result in them telling me to contact Popcap, and all Popcap can suggest is everything I'd already tried. My next idea is to delve into the registry to see if I can delete anything there, but I'm not really sure how well that would go. Any ideas would be appreciated. :)
