Mouse keeps freezing

Sure does sound like a mx518.. the cord breaking alot of people tend to fix it themselfs I didn’t know how to so I’ve bought 3 mx518’s in total and all of the 3 their cord broke so I bought another mouse cause I hate the cord breaking..
ok well thanks for the help. hopefully i can get the money to get a new mouse =]

nearly nil yep, but thats the reason why i directly added him via steam to clear things up, and he has checked it with another mouse and everything was fine btw. if you post in other peoples threads try to help them or stop wasting your “breath”

Does your computer make a “DING” sound in windows? Cus when my cord was broken on my MX518 it turned off and when it was back on it went “DING” in windows.
(They should only make braded cables…)

it does that but only on certain occasions
Then as it was already pointed out in this thread it is broken cord. Quite popular problem among logitech mice. I fixed my 518 by cutting about 5 cm of wire near mouse and soldering remaining part (now 5 cm shorter) back to plug.
You can also try and contact Logitech if it’s still under warranty.

well i did buy it off amazon so i dont think its under warrenty and i have know idea how to solder it back, probably ask my granddad or something as he is more adept with that.
