The laptop is MSI CX623. I doubt that the normal vga kicks in when a game is launched for example, becouse when I try to run Street Fighter 4 it barely runs on medium settings. I know that it's a mobile vga and etc, but it should really run on high/medium settings according to benchmarks.

The switching between the too is done by software, not hardware, so it'll be a utility/driver program specifically for your laptop.

isnt 310 like proper shit tho? ah, its mobile... then ye, i have no clue how the new chipsets work :D but in general they should work without interference, when u launch tf2 it should start working... but the card is rly bad, wouldnt be surprised if nothing good comes out of it

make sure u run tf2 on 800x600 or close to that

Do you happen to have an i5 or i7 CPU?
Because these have integrated GPU to save up batterylife when
you're not dealing with any visual intensive stuff.
When you do, f.e. ingame, i thought it automaticly switches to the real GPU no?

idk :x
