    	    <description><![CDATA[Pretty random I know, but I've been bugged by this for a long time and never looked for a solution. If you aren't a dumbass like myself, you may already know it, anywyays:

After Effects hogs memory to the extreme, making the computer really slow. There's actually a very simple feature to fix. Go to Edit -&#62; Purge -&#62; All. This will remove all cached previews etc. It will also delete your undo history, so select the options separately if you want to keep it.

Since I'm at it, I could share another general performance tip: Using multiprocessing will make previewing slow. Turn it off while you're working, turn it on for rendering. This is in Preferences -&#62; Memory and Multiprocessing.]]></description>
