Yeah, is there no way of feeding the mumble cast into an online stream? I prefer it with stv, but it would be good for there to be one main cast. Also are these going to become more regular?
I'm pretty sure there is, infact isn't that exactly what most of the streamers do? Stream + mumble cast would be optimal, since there are some people that would be interested in watching matches even though they don't own TF2 (yet ;-)) or just can't run the game for some other reason. Over here there are STV's for every match, they even give them out in the irc channels for pwnage.tv and tgbf.tv, but still each of them gets hundreds of viewers for each match.
I bet if their casters did a mumble cast with stv they would get similar number of viewers/listeners or maybe even more. It's the casters that lure them into watching a stream, without that audio I would think many of them would rather watch the stv. They've been happening once a week so yes i believe so minimoose. Acid and beta have casted before, and are wanting to get back to it. Good luck to the both of them. u Unfortunately Acid and Beta's casting is different to how myself and the others roll, they know it and we know it. Not necessarily better but differently done. So we intend to keep doing our casts regardless of what other streams/vod's/casts are going. QuadV/Pwnage/User specific casts/lvl^up. We believe we are doing a good job and will continue as per normal. Cheers Byte
As byte said we are not looking to take over casting from anyone and we hope mumble casts as well other options available. We are dfferent..in a good way. Its good to see etf2l radio running again and I hope you guys continue reaching out to all players :-) With more options available then ever to the community we now need your help to help us grow bigger! Mumble casts are my favourite to do by far. A lot more interraction with the community and a lot more relaxed. Beta has been bugging me for months now to do some casting with him for quadv. We were going to do some on Sunday but I think there was a problem with the audio. We will do a tonne in the next few weeks or something and viewers will hopefully have several different ways to enjoy the games!
