Why not instead of oldies/young player awards.. why not have like they got in NBA/NHL/NFL... Rookie of the year...? The most surprising newcomer to the TF2 competitive scene. or Prospect of the year perhaps.. a div 5/4 player, who really have kicked some serious butt in the previous season.. the next upcoming star

Yes.. but do you think there will ever be a div 4-6 player nominated.. and actually win this award..? it will always be div 1-3 player who takes that one home. :/ as i see it there are only the fairplay award you can win as a div 4-6 team, besides the div awards.. no personal awards for lower players. only team efforts. Then get better?
