Fact is though, most other teams, coming from a "6th place" wouldnt come 6th in the UPPER div again, but maybe drop down or whatever. We proved everyone wrong in that case, and yes, our first 2-3 games didnt show any sign of that.

as i said before, they likely didnt *ask* for a promotion back then. We submitted some nice results and so on, while the ones "above" us likely didnt do that then. In the end of the day, if you dont get promoted and win a div, or if you DO get promoted and come 6th again... it doesnt matter. YYT2 actually fit that spot in Div2, and to a certain extent they "swapped" with Special7. S7 experienced a lot of line-up problems and probably wouldn't have sustained that spot well enough, unlike YYT2 who have found their stability a bit more recently. If a team can actually play at a certain level, they should. If YYT2 really could sustain Div1, then they should be there, if they improved so rapidly between the seasons. Honestly, there's no need for looking for flames.
