really don't mind it too much, but the real reason I love the etf2l banner is because of the original art, and the reason I like vanillatf2's background is because they have ingame footage of maps. I reallyreallyreally don't like pictures made by valve/from valve movies. I take it you mean the login stuff? That's just in there to show what it would look like during the selection process, I would remove those from the final version. Or do you mean don't use .jpg?

Scout one suffers from too many types of fonts as well as too many colours. The key is to not over complicate and try to stick to about 3 different colours. For example ETF2L's current Banner has Orange, light blue and dark blue as its key colours with fonts that are similar. Thanks :) You still think the quality is too low? That link is now the updated version with the blocks re-done in better detail. EDIT: Do you mean the res is too low? Because it's 1000x210 which is what the News announcement said was the size requirement. I notice yours are far bigger though.
