Quick question.

Has any soldier or demo player had an INTERESTING battle on turbine? i.e. a crazy 1on1, etc.

Ubers are popped in a flat, spammy, corridor. Movement techniques are all but useless. Spawn camping is much easier than on other maps.

Could somebody outline what it is about turbine that makes it enjoyable? Not trolling, I'm genuinely curious.

I really enjoy turbine, its one of the few maps that forces every team, no matter what division to play as a solid team together. It opens up variations of different classes within each sides and its a really good map to boost team play. You don't see many engineers/pyros/heavies/spies in other maps either, in this map you do.
I guess its down to personal preferance though and what you like in a map, personally, I find it a great map for practising formations and calling dropbacks/pushes.

Mach4 has been in ETF2L for three seasons before it got removed. I know my team chose it 3 seasons running. It never was really popular though, look at the map stats.
Season3: 21 times, Season4: 13 times, Season5: 8 times.

But yea, mach4 is still cool, i'd love to see a CTF map still being out there. Though it's much too easy to speak badly about the map, so doubt it will happen :(

What about ctf_mach4? I've never seen it in 6v6 European format (only NA), but I think it should be pretty fun map to play. Every team I suggested to play this to rejected this map. Anyways, it's pretty small, but not spammy, should be intense fighting all the time.
I 2nd the vote for ctf_mach4.
