Lol...
Problem solved. Next time I will check the most obvious simple solutions before messing up all my config files ..
I forgot I finally got the gunboats late last night and had put them on. That of course messed up my scripts used to switch to shotty.. :D

Sounds strange, my suggestion would be to do the following:

- delete config.cfg and autoexec.cfg
- run game with the -autoconfig flag
- ???
- profit

Today I got a weird problem.
After fooling around a bit with a script, I cannot bind any keys for my weapons anymore. It doesn't matter that I deleted my little script. It still doesn't work.
I even used the unbindall command and deleted the config.cfg file, but it still doesn't work.

It seems like the game recreates the old config.cfg file(involving parts from the faulty script) every time I enter the game.

Anyone else got a clue how to fix it ?
I need to reset everything somehow. Appearently, just deleting the config.cfg file wasn't enough. It seems there is some backup copy of the config.cfg recreating itself all the time instead of creating a new fresh one.
