So, no. Unless you want piss-poor sound quality, scrap the steelseries-stuff -- even the old AKG K240s I have on the attic that were studio-standard 20 years ago and cost like 40€ today are twenty times better. So, no. All these "virtual" surround-HPs are utter crap as well (for example, Razer Megalodon). I tossed the megalodons in the bin after 3 hours, they were just PURE CRAP. Fact is, no matter how you look at it, you can't get "good surround" in a pair of HPs and still get the stuffyou wanted (i.ex lightweight).
