You have two options of using this, which is listed here:

    * Put -dxlevel 81 in your command line
    * Run the game
    * Close the game after it is loaded
    * <b>Remove the parameter </b>


Or the second option:

    * Put -dxlevel 81 in your command line
    * Also specify -w XXXX and -h XXX for your screen resolution
    * Leave in there permanently

    	    <description><![CDATA[Hey guys,
So yesterday i reinstalled my windows xp, installed steam and team fortress 2.
When i run tf2 it starts with the intro vid where is the head and then the game just turns off.
I put -dxlevel 95 in the launch options, ok now it works, but that's fucked up, because then each time i have to put the resolution settings and shit to be ready to play.
Before reinstalling my windows never had problems like these and I don't have a wooden pc. 

btw, left 4 dead 2 runs with no problems.]]></description>
