    	    <description><![CDATA[Making your own crosshairs is not advised. I made a huge selection of crosshairs similar to my old TFC ones. If the server is using sv_pure 1 or 2 (can't remember which) your crosshairs will be black and purple boxes. 

The error will also occur if the crosshair is named incorrectly (it's been a while but i think you needed 2 files for a crosshair, one of which is text).

But yea, either the server is blocking your custom crosshair, or there is a problem with the file.]]></description>
