I turned the acc off some time ago, mostly because I wanted to have more accurate control over my mouse. This resulted in me changing the sens a bit higher after some period of time due to certain strafing problems when s/j or surfing ( :D ).

Same with me as solly.

Battling scouts at close range is a nightmare, it's been 4 days or so but hopefully it improves in the next few days. God damn I hope so.

My advice after fiddleing around for a few days is dont change it unless you feel your being held back by it. I've fucked around alot now and cant even remember what sens i used to play with lol and my soldier aim is now pants but hte rest of the classes are good, so i've got to spend effort re-learning my aim now which will be about as much fun as eating my mothers anus.

As your a demo and if your pipes are well aimed i wouldnt bother but if you keep missing them for no particular reason then i'd say change. Demo dosnt notice much of a difference.

^^ speaks the truth.
Put it this way. If you get flash banged in CS. you can't see anything, you need to know your sensitivity in order to say, look exactly 180 degrees behind you and start shooting. With mouse accell on, you would need to know your sensitivity as well as how fast you need to move your mouse. If you move the mouse too fast, you will spin too far, too slow you spin to little. By having a constant sensitivity you know how much you need to move your arm or wrist to turn an exact amount (this is also why I hate people who constantly change their sensitivity every game).

In TF2, it could be a sniper flick shot rather than a flash bang. You might see someone pop out for a split second, and rather than having to wait until your dot crosses over their head (and relying on your reaction time to fire the shot), you will roughly know the distance you need to move your wrist/arm to move your crosshair onto him. You then fire when you have moved the distance and you might get a very fast flickshot kill.

I just read that again and I'm not sure it makes sense.

Over time you will have learned how fast you're moving your mouse and will aim as good as someone without mouse acc. I got friends that use mouse acc that can run through maps monitor off on alot of games, although they've dedicated alot of time inte playing with the settings but still. Although changing sensitivity all the time is horrible :D
