I tried comaglia cfg, but the game was running more smooth and fast for me with r4ndom cfg.

The problem is from my cfg folder because after i renamed it to something else the game hadn't crashed.

I have some things to ask regarding cfg files in tf2, add me so we can discuss about it please. I need to fix this problem.

Thanks.

I think the R4ndom config is more tailored towards quad core builds, you may wanna try out Comanglia’s toaster config/stability to see if it solves the issue.

Thank you for the tip. Danpixel told me the same thing.I will try it right now and i will come back with a feedback.

EDIT:

I made the tf2 benchmark twice and got those results:

R4NDOM

2639 frames 34.632 seconds 76.20 fps (13.12 ms/f) 5.703 fps variability

2639 frames 33.058 seconds 79.83 fps (12.53 ms/f) 4.152 fps variability

Comaglia

2639 frames 35.705 seconds 73.91 fps (13.53 ms/f) 5.610 fps variability

2639 frames 33.823 seconds 78.02 fps (12.82 ms/f) 3.988 fps variability

How do I know which one is correct and better?

Play with Vanilla Tf2 (no configs, hud, -autoconfig in launch options), see if it crashes, if it doesn't crash, you have a problem within your config.

Hey! Thank you for your reply.I'm pretty sure that is something wrong with my config, but I don't know how. I'm recently using a high fps config, nohats mod, particles (medicgun_beam_dx80, item_fx_dx80 etc.), scripts (surfaceproperties.txt), no smoke script (tf_weapon_grenadelauncher.txt), diminishedexplosions.vpk, headsfeet.vpk, nosoundscapes.vpk.

I need help! Please :(

My TF2 sometimes crash in two weird different styles:

1. Whenever I switch the class quick after respawning and exiting the spawn and jump my game crashes.

2. When there are a lot of players near me (32 servers).

Those are the configurations that I use:

➨ Launch Options:
-full -console -novid -nojoy -h 720 -w 1280

➨ My laptop specs: http://pastebin.com/RFSZs3eL

➨ Autoexec: http://pastebin.com/HhhrV2pr

➨ Config.cfg: http://pastebin.com/RTpZwjSB

➨ My custom folder: Google Drive link

Things I tried so far:

– verify the integrity of the game cache.

I’m not sure but after I do the verifying the game runs ok, if I modify something in a class cfg then the game stars to crash again. Could this be the reason?
