It is obvious to anyone with a functioning frontal lobe that if Russia wanted to annex the Ukraine by force they are more then capable of doing so. The Ukraine conflict is simply a proxy war against NATO's expansion. Not that i support Russia (i will support no capitalist state) but if you look at the history of the region eastern Ukraine should have been repatriated into Russia upon the folding of the USSR. Also anything that weakens western hegemony and gets the capitalist clawing at each other's throats is good thing.
