Sorry for making this post, but I am so delighted that I can't stop telling people. I am a Mac user, Macbook air to be precise. 11 inch 1 kg computer, with integrated grafics and an i5.

Running tf2 on my mac was, meh. With Chris configs and a lot of tweaks, I garnered about a ~40 fps average on crowded places.

I just read somewhere that if you partition your drive and install Windows performance could be better. A little skeptical but finally got on to try it.

And...

I'm getting an average of 200-400 fps on the Windows. It's unbelievable. I've been even able to stream at somewhat high quality while playing serious, and not lagging. Before I could only do so at low quality, and maybe while playing Engie in mvm or medic.

It's just, amazing. A solid 66 fps (cap), but could go up to 200. Game takes to boot like, 10 seconds max instead of the old 1 minute (helps that I'm on SSD).

I'm thinking of making a guide, not sure if I should, on how to do it. But, it REALLY IS WORTH IT. Like, really really. At least if you have a poor computer as I do. I mean, if you have a monster mac, allright, but for the rest, please do yourself a favor and do it.

If anybody would like a guide, it would take me some time, but this is so helpful that I couldn't say no.

Thanks, enjoy.
