Some rocks (for example at the start of upward) are not there on certain fps configs unlike when you play on max quality. These rocks you can clip through stickies. People on high settings can't see the stickies because of the rocks but people on low settings just see the stickies on the ground. (I found this out when I asked my teammate why he put stickies visible on the ground.

From your answers i made opinion that the basic advantages and disadvantages of playing on high quality that:

- More details, more enjoyable game, but not professional.

- Lower graphics gives you opportunity to focus only on enemies, what makes game more professional, but looking bad.

- Playing on high quality your aim gets tiny delay, what means mouse movements not 100% in control. (I definitely agree with this, i saw that, thats why i made this thread to ask..)

- Higher graphics affects Fps. ( I still can play on around 120-200fps )

I really want to hear a professional opinion about that, if it wasn't. :))

More quality means more detail, which means its naturally harder to focus on the things you need to focus on. A graphics config gives better fps, but it also makes it easier to spot the important things. In terms of aim nothing changes, unless your fps is under 40 or something.

I get around 600 fps with high frames, but I get like 250 with dx9 or just high settings in general. Yet I feel like I have a tiny delay whenever I try to turn (note - everything related to v-sync is off). So I am literally forced to play with high frames to get rid of that tiny delay. It's really annoying, because I like the way game looks with dx9 config. Oh well. In this case - yes, it does really effect your aim.

Liking it or not is personal preference. And no it doesn't affect aim, difference is only in smoothness of game itself and amount of visual clutter (like smoke trails and exploding boddies covering half of screen).

Hello, I have a question.

If i play on high quality and got same fps as for example with max frames, is it harder to play, is it affect aim?
Cause what is obvious you see more environment and stuff, which makes game more enjoyable, but is it same gameplay as with low graphics.
