Robin's not worked on TF2 for a year or so. Corey Peters is the guy writing news posts: coreyp@valvesoftware.com

Quoted from broesel

inb4 email: they never reply - and by never I really mean never

Just some general tips:
- Email one specific person, at least if you have an idea of who would be best to email.
- Make your text as concise and easy to read as possible.
- If you expect an answer, make it clear what it is that you expect an answer on, and make it as easy to answer as possible. For example, "Do you have any plans on implementing this?" is better that "This would be cool to have". Another example: "Can you supply us with 3 signed posters for the contest by the end of this month?" is much better than "What can you do for me?"
- Don't throw several subjects/questions into the same email, unless they're connected.
- Don't be afraid to send one or two reminders if it is important for you to receive a reply. Show that it is important to you.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't recommend that. Keep in mind that they're 9 hours behind us (CEST), and mostly on Steam during their evenings, at home, probably hoping to play games. Even if you talk to them at 07:00 CEST, it's 22:00 their time.

Don't know either... I've used it a few times, and they only got back to me once. And the guy who answered said I should email him directly from now on.

probably for this:
Quoted from broesel

I wrote an Email to the TF Team, hopefully they'll implement this...

Hi!

I created a custom TF2 HUD that is quite popular amongst the playerbase (21000 downloads for the latest version): [Link]

Currently I’m working on an update that includes a new tournament spectator GUI, though I hit some walls trying to implement this: [Link] – as you can see, it’s all blue because as it stands now, there are no flags to allow for a specification of whether a value should only be applied to a certain team. I’d be eternally grateful if you could implement such flags (if_team1 { … }, if_team2 { … }) for SpectatorTournament.res, so that 2 different panels can be made, not only differing in color but also differing in the alignment of elements, so that they can eventually be mirrored.

cheers,
Michael
