    	    <description><![CDATA[It's obviously just down to personal preference but it's interesting to me that valve gives you the option of removing them. Interestingly, in other games it's considered a "hack" to remove them.

Personally, when I watch a stream with some one playing with them on I'm constantly distracted by the reload animation. It also takes up a large part of the screen.]]></description>
