With that ruleset if you are winning with a +2 difference (like 3-1), 10 mn left i don't see what will encourage the leading team to push and not waiting 10 mn stalemating...
And the timelimit 20 enforces that point because as someone said, it's likely no teams will get the 5 caps in 20 mn. Maybe the same with tl 30.

And the idea of BO3/tl 20 maps everygame is not good imo, hf with increasing waiting time between maps and with point count.

Think that alternative ruleset doesn't add anything but it worth thinking about a new ruleset for the game flow because i think it's not perfect.]]></description>

One encourages stupid plays based on luck and the other encourages planning. It's really just preference.]]></description>

    	    <description><![CDATA[The americans use a first to 5 format but over 40+ minutes (it rarely gets that length) with half time. They only play 1 map a week in officials too. 


		<blockquote>Game Settings
Regulation Max Rounds:
Control Point - 5 Rounds
Attack and Defend - 2 Rounds
King of the Hill - 4 rounds
Capture the Flag - No Limit
Overtime Max Rounds - 1

For control point maps, each match will consist of two halves. The first half will end if the 3 target capture limit or the 30 minute time limit is reached.The second half will end if a team reaches the total 5 captures or the 30 minute time limit is reached. If at the end of the match, the scores are tied, overtime is played.</blockquote>

If we just changed it to a 20 minute time limit with the first to 5 rounds idea(and maybe kept the 2 maps officials) i think this would be a cool idea :)
