Pickups do require you have at least a basic understanding of what you're supposed to be doing in your games. However we do give people temporary invites, and if we've not received any complaints about you after a couple of games you may stay :) There isn't much rage at all. People that do rage usually get reported and inevitably warned/banned. We try to keep the pickups fun and competitive for everyone.
