Direct is EXACTLY the same if you shoot their actual feet. If you shoot the floor and not their feet it will take less damage. A direct is a direct no matter where you shoot them and a none direct (splash) is a splash no matter where you shoot the floor. It's just distance to think about.

    	    <description><![CDATA[I thought this was more about the aiming aspect. But anyway. If you have a predictable enemy you lead your aim a bit. But vs an unpredictable enemy i would try to track him as best as possible. 

@above. Scattergun has the same basedamage as shotgun. Scattergun deals more damage close range while shotgun deals more damage longrange.]]></description>
