    	    <description><![CDATA[Well any excess choke that you have over your opponents is going to be a big disadvantage, especially in scout duals etc where a split second matters alot.

I'm also getting this issue, but the engi update coincided with me changing connection so it could be either. Btw my choke is hitting the 40 mark at times.]]></description>

Wasn't placebo for me neither, I was struggling with a huge fps drop lately, I recreated the directory and stopped whining pretty much.

    	    <description><![CDATA[No idea then sorry. Wasn't a placebo for me, it improved the game. Before if say a scout was on my screen and he'd jump, my pc would freeze/struggle/stutter. Then in a split second I'm dead without seeing how it happened and my game cuts to a deathcam pic of the scout who is now around about 3 corners to where he killed me.
If you can't totally get rid of choke, which I never really have been able to then below 15 should be playable. Wise up, turn netgraph off :)]]></description>
